Seminar on Branding Image & Competitiveness of Madrasahs

Lumajang, August 14, 2023 - The Auditorium of the Lumajang Regional Personnel Agency witnessed the implementation of an Education Seminar themed "Competitiveness and Branding Image of Madrasahs." The event, held on Monday, was a collaboration between the KKM MTs V Lumajang and STIT Miftahul Midad.

This seminar aimed to explore and discuss strategies for enhancing the competitiveness and branding image of madrasah educational institutions within the community. The presence of participants from various educational institutions and decision-makers in the field of education added a dynamic atmosphere to the event.

The two main speakers at this event were Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd, the Director of the Graduate School at Universitas Nurul Jadid, and Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd, the Head of the Master's Program in Islamic Education Management at Universitas Nurul Jadid. Both are experts in educational management with extensive experience in developing education strategies focused on enhancing competitiveness and branding image.

In his presentation, Dr. Hasan Baharun emphasized the importance of having a strong vision and mission to improve the competitiveness of an educational institution. "A clear vision and mission will serve as a solid foundation for designing strategic steps that align with current developments. Madrasahs must be able to keep pace with technological advancements and utilize them to improve the quality of education," he stated.

Meanwhile, Dr. Akmal Mundiri stressed the significance of branding image in the education sector. "Branding image is not just about logos or names, but also about how educational institutions create a positive identity in the eyes of the community. This involves providing excellent services to students, fostering good cooperation with parents, and ensuring the quality of outstanding graduates," he explained.

Seminar participants actively engaged in the question-and-answer session and panel discussions. They had the opportunity to share experiences and gain insights from the speakers. The event concluded with a spirit of innovation in developing education within madrasah settings.

This seminar marked an important milestone in efforts to provide quality and competitive education in the Lumajang area.
