A lecturer from Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) assisted with the management of the Open Journal System (OJS) at IAIN Ternate.

In order to strengthen the Open Journal System (OJS) at IAIN Ternate, a lecturer from the Graduate Program of Universitas Nurul Jadid had the honor of providing education and training on scientific journals toward becoming reputable, held on November 29-30, 2022, at the IAIN Ternate Hall.

This educational and training activity is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Universitas Nurul Jadid and IAIN Ternate in three aspects of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education: education and learning, research, and community service.

According to Hasan Baharun, managing a journal requires commitment and integrity to ensure that the journal is truly reputable. This is because there are many predatory and fake journals that neglect the quality of articles and their management.

If higher education institutions have reputable and high-quality journals, these will become a medium for disseminating knowledge and promoting the institution through their scientific journal publications, as it will attract researchers who wish to publish their scholarly works, he added.
