The Director of the Postgraduate Program at Nurul Jadid University Paiton Probolinggo (UNUJA), on Monday, August 15, 2022, became a speaker at the Academic Writing Articles for International Publication event for lecturers, journal administrators, and student representatives at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya (FDK UINSA). The event started at 08:00 AM and ended at 13:00 PM in a face-to-face format at the FDK UINSA Conference Room. This event is one of the efforts by the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication to improve the quality of lecturers and students in scientific publications.

In the main session, the first session began. The speaker for the first session, Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., Director of the Postgraduate Program at Nurul Jadid University, delivered material on writing articles for internationally reputable journals, such as manuscript management, article rejection, understanding journal writing guidelines/author guidelines, IMRAD and Non-IMRAD formats, formulating and choosing titles/themes, and techniques for writing articles such as tips for finding research gaps, research methods, and results and discussions. Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., also explained the use of e-resources for literature reviews, such as Google Scholar, Moraref, Garuda, DOAJ, Science Direct, and others. To make it easier to write scientific articles in English, tools like Google Translate, Grammarly, and Quillbot can be used.
