Nurul Jadid University (UNUJA) and the Islamic Institute of Religion (IAI) At Taqwa Bondowoso strengthened their collaboration in the development of scientific publications by signing a new agreement on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. The event took place at the UNUJA Postgraduate classroom, attended by leaders and faculty members from both institutions.
The Vice Rector I of the Islamic Institute of Religion (IAI) At Taqwa Bondowoso, Dr. Agus Fawait, S.Pd.I, M.Pd.I, attended the event alongside the Director of Postgraduate Studies at STAI At Taqwa Bondowoso, Dr. H. Akhmadi, M.Pd.I, and academic staff from IAI At Taqwa Bondowoso. Representing UNUJA, the Director of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., also served as a speaker in the discussion on reputable journal publishing.
A key highlight of the meeting was an in-depth discussion on the process of publishing high-quality, reputable scientific journals. Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., shared insights on the principles of reputable journal publication, while Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd., Head of the Master’s Program in Islamic Education (MPI) at UNUJA, provided insights into effective journal management practices.
The collaboration between UNUJA’s Postgraduate Program and IAI At Taqwa Bondowoso aims to improve both the quality and quantity of scientific publications, particularly in the fields of religious studies and Islamic education. Through this synergy, the institutions hope to foster an academic environment that supports knowledge advancement and deeper understanding within society.
Dr. Agus Fawait, S.Pd.I, M.Pd.I, expressed, "We are very enthusiastic about this collaboration and confident that together, we can achieve greater milestones in scientific publication. This is an important step in enhancing our institutions' reputation in the academic sphere."
Meanwhile, Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., added, “We hope this collaboration will bring great benefits to both institutions and the community at large. Reputable journal publications are vital tools in sharing knowledge and encouraging scientific progress in Indonesia.”
This agreement marks a shared commitment between UNUJA and IAI At Taqwa Bondowoso to advance the scientific community and increase their contributions to educational and religious development in Indonesia. With guidance and support from experts at both institutions, it is hoped that new breakthroughs will emerge, positively impacting societal growth and national progress.
