Graduate Program Holds Boot Camp for Managers of Reputable Scientific Journals of PTKIN and PTKIS in the Tapal Kuda Region

Saturday, July 27, 2024 - The Graduate Program of Universitas Nurul Jadid organized an event for Managers of Reputable Scientific Journals for State Islamic Universities (PTKN) and Private Islamic Universities (PTKIS) in the Tapal Kuda region. This event took place over two days, on July 27 and 28, 2024, at the Lecture Hall of Universitas Nurul Jadid.In the opening remarks, Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., Vice Rector III for Data, Information Systems, Research, and Innovation at Universitas Nurul Jadid, emphasized the importance of enhancing the quality of scientific journal management in higher education institutions. "This activity is a strategic step in improving the standards and quality of scientific journals managed by PTKN and PTKIS in the Tapal Kuda area," said Dr. Hasan Baharun.As the organizer, the Graduate Program of Universitas Nurul Jadid brought in experienced mentors, namely Dr. Umar Manshur, MA., and Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd. Both mentors provided materials and intensive training on managing reputable scientific journals, particularly those using the OJS platform.The event was attended by 28 participants, representing journal managers from various PTKN and PTKIS in the Tapal Kuda region. The event aimed not only to provide technical training but also to build networks among journal managers in religious higher education institutions.With this initiative, it is hoped that the scientific journals managed by PTKN and PTKIS in the Tapal Kuda region will become of higher quality and reputable, enabling them to compete at both national and international levels
