Nurul Jadid University Holds Graduation for the 2021-2022 Academic Year

UNUJA recently held an Open Senate Meeting, which was conducted offline and live-streamed, attended by all final semester students, totaling 1,115 participants from Diploma, Bachelor's, and Master's levels.

The graduation ceremony was held on Saturday (29/10/2022) at Hall 1 and Hall 2 of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. The ceremony was also attended by the Rector and Vice Rectors, as well as KH. Zuhri Zaini BA, the caretaker of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School.

“We congratulate the graduates of the 2021-2022 academic year. Our message to the graduates is to always uphold the importance of the Five Awareness and Tridarma as valuable legacies in our lives. May the knowledge gained benefit your families and communities,” said KH. Abdul Hamid Wahid M.Ag, the Rector of Nurul Jadid University.

The ceremony continued with a sermon from the caretaker: "This is proof that UNUJA is a successful program in the success of its students. Be grateful to Allah for the blessings He has given. My message is to never feel satisfied with what has been achieved, for satisfaction means considering everything as complete. Never stop learning, anytime and anywhere," said KH. Zuhri, the caretaker of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School.

Out of the total of 1,115 participants, 88 were Master's graduates from the Postgraduate Program. The best graduate award went to Helmiyatus Sa’adah, a Master's student from the PAI Program, Curriculum S2 2020, with a GPA of 3.93. She was born in Sumenep on December 31, 1997, and is a 4th-semester postgraduate student," said Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., the Director of the Postgraduate Program at Nurul Jadid University.

The graduation event went smoothly and was followed with great reverence by all participants until the final part of the ceremony, which concluded with a prayer.
