Implementation of the Performance Audit of the Nurul Jadid University Postgraduate Program for the 2024/2025 Academic Year

Paiton – The Postgraduate Program of Nurul Jadid University (UNUJA) conducted its regular end-of-semester activity in the form of a Performance Audit (Programs and Finance) for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This audit was organized by the Institute for Supervision and Quality Assurance (LPPM) of UNUJA on Thursday, August 14, 2025, and took place in the Postgraduate Meeting Room.

The event was officially opened by Ahmad Sahidah, Ph.D., who stated that the audit aims to ensure that the implementation of work programs and financial management within the Postgraduate Program of UNUJA is carried out effectively, efficiently, transparently, and accountably. “This performance audit not only serves as a monitoring mechanism but also as a continuous improvement instrument that significantly benefits the strengthening of impactful university governance,” he remarked.

The Internal Auditor Team appointed by LPPM UNUJA consisted of experienced auditors: Dr. Sulton Firdaus, M.Pd. and Mochlis Ekowijayanto, M.Pd., who audited the work program sector, and Syaifuddin, M.E., who audited the financial sector. The audit covered evaluations of academic activities, research, community service, as well as budget management and financial realization.

The Director of the Postgraduate Program, Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd., warmly welcomed this activity. “We express our gratitude for the implementation of this audit. Through the evaluation results, we are able to identify our achievements and shortcomings, enabling us to make improvements for the future advancement of the Postgraduate Program,” he stated.

The event was also attended by Dr. Umar Manshur, M.A., Head of the Master’s Program in Islamic Religious Education; Dr. Abu Hasan Agus R, M.Pd.I., Head of the Master’s Program in Islamic Education Management; along with the academic staff of the Postgraduate Program of UNUJA. Internally, this audit is beneficial for strengthening academic governance and financial management in a professional manner. Externally, the audit results serve as evidence of public accountability and strengthen public trust in the Postgraduate Program of Nurul Jadid University as a high-quality higher education institution.
