Probolinggo, September 17, 2025 – The Postgraduate Program of Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) once again conducted its Internal Quality Audit (IQA) as part of the annual agenda organized by the Institute for Quality Assurance and Monitoring (LPPM). Held at the Postgraduate Hall, this audit serves as a strategic effort to ensure that the academic quality, governance, and services of the postgraduate program are implemented in accordance with established standards.

This year’s audit focused on two study programs: the Master of Islamic Education (PAI) and the Master of Islamic Education Management (MPI). Through this audit, the UNUJA Postgraduate Program reaffirmed its commitment to conducting comprehensive evaluations, identifying weaknesses, and formulating improvement strategies to enhance the quality of teaching, research, and community service.

In his remarks, Bradhiansyah Tri Suryanto, S.S., M.Pd., representing LPPM, emphasized the importance of openness and collaboration from all parties to ensure that the audit is carried out effectively and produces constructive recommendations. Meanwhile, the Head of the MPI Program, Dr. Abu Hasan Agus R., M.Pd.I., stressed that the audit should not be viewed merely as a formality, but rather as a reflective process to strengthen academic quality and competitiveness at both the national and international levels.

The audit was conducted by two auditor teams in accordance with LAMDIK standards. The first team audited the PAI program under the leadership of Dr. Umar Manshur, M.A., while the second team audited the MPI program led by Dr. Abu Hasan Agus R., M.Pd.I.. Both teams worked systematically to assess the compliance of academic management with the established quality standards.

The Internal Quality Audit provides dual benefits for both internal and external stakeholders. Internally, it reinforces the culture of quality, enhances faculty professionalism, and improves academic services. Externally, it builds public trust, strengthens the competitiveness of graduates, and ensures the relevance of UNUJA’s Postgraduate Program to societal needs and global dynamics.

With the successful implementation of this audit, the UNUJA Postgraduate Program reaffirms its commitment to delivering higher education that is excellent, character-driven, and globally competitive. The Internal Quality Audit is not merely an evaluative process but also a strategic instrument to realize UNUJA’s vision as a university that contributes to national development while remaining prepared to compete at the international level.
