Master's Program Equips Students with Systematic Literature Review and Bibliometric Analysis Training

Paiton, Sunday, January 7, 2024 - The Graduate School of Universitas Nurul Jadid held a training event aimed at equipping graduate students with skills in Systematic Literature Review, Bibliometric Analysis, and citation management using Zotero and Mendeley. This training was conducted in stages in the classrooms of the Graduate School at Universitas Nurul Jadid.

The mentor for this event was Suhermanto, S.Psi., M.Pd., who also serves as the Head of Administration at the Graduate School of Universitas Nurul Jadid. He has extensive experience in the fields of psychology and education and serves as an inspiring leader for graduate students.

The training was attended by graduate students from various study programs, who enthusiastically participated in each session. Suhermanto guided them through the steps of Systematic Literature Review, assisted them in conducting Bibliometric Analysis, and provided practical guidance on using Zotero and Mendeley for citation management.

Systematic Literature Review is a research method that requires a structured approach to collecting, filtering, and evaluating scientific literature related to a research topic. Bibliometric Analysis, on the other hand, is a statistical technique for analyzing and measuring the impact of scientific literature.

The use of Zotero and Mendeley as citation management tools was also a key focus of this training. By mastering these tools, graduate students are expected to be more efficient in detailing and referencing literature in their thesis or dissertation writing.

Suhermanto hopes that through this training, graduate students at Universitas Nurul Jadid can optimize their research, enhance the quality of their scholarly work, and become professionals who can compete at a global level. This training event is one of the university's steps in supporting the academic development and professionalism of its graduate students
