Postgraduate Lecturers at UNUJA Attend the Workshop on the Improvement and Acceleration of Lecturers and Professors

On July 28-29, 2023, improving the quality of lecturers is an important effort in the field of education aimed at enhancing the competencies and performance of lecturers in teaching, conducting research, and contributing to society. Discussions on improving the quality of lecturers involve various aspects that must be addressed and improved, including: (1) Qualifications and Experience, (2) Training and Professional Development, (3) Quality of Teaching, (4) Research and Publication, (5) Community Service, (6) Assessment and Evaluation, where the results of this evaluation can serve as a basis for developing improvement and enhancement plans, and (7) Use of Technology in Learning in line with current developments. Dr. Imron Fauzi, M.Pd. (Chairman of PERMA PENDIS DPW JATIM) emphasized the importance of the role of lecturers in creating a quality learning environment for students and contributing to the development of knowledge. Several programs proposed during the working meeting include technology-based teaching training, enhancing research publications, and collaboration with industry to provide practical knowledge in the learning process.
