Postgraduate Prepares Students for Overseas Academic Program to Singapore and Malaysia

Probolinggo, East Java - The Postgraduate Program of Universitas Nurul Jadid held a briefing event for the Overseas Academic Program to Singapore and Malaysia in July 2024. The event was attended by several speakers, including Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd, the Director of the Postgraduate Program; Dr. Umar Manshur, MA, the Head of the Master’s Program in Islamic Education; and Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd., the Head of the Master’s Program in Islamic Education Management.

A total of 60 postgraduate students from Universitas Nurul Jadid participated enthusiastically in this briefing event. They have been looking forward to the opportunity to take part in the Overseas Academic Program, which will provide valuable academic and cultural experiences in Singapore and Malaysia.

The briefing event was held in the Auditorium of the Universitas Nurul Jadid Faculty Dormitory. In interactive sessions, the speakers provided in-depth insights into the preparations, expectations, and benefits that participants could gain during the program.

Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd, in his opening remarks, stated, “This Overseas Academic Program is not just about gaining academic experience abroad, but also an opportunity to expand networks, enhance intercultural skills, and open new horizons for the participants. We hope that students can make the most of this opportunity to develop themselves and bring benefits to the community in the future.”

Participants were also given information regarding administrative requirements, logistics, and the academic programs they would undertake while in Singapore and Malaysia. They were encouraged to actively ask questions and engage in discussions to better prepare themselves.

With great enthusiasm, the postgraduate students of Universitas Nurul Jadid are ready to embark on this valuable experience in the Overseas Academic Program.
