Postgraduate Students of UNUJA as Commissioners of the Probolinggo City KPU for the 2024-2029 Period

Probolinggo, June 14, 2024 – A sense of pride and emotion enveloped Universitas Nurul Jadid as one of its postgraduate students, Zainal Abidin, was officially inaugurated as a Commissioner of the Probolinggo City General Election Commission (KPU) for the 2024-2029 period. The inauguration took place at the KPU RI office in Jakarta on June 13, 2024.

During the solemn ceremony, Zainal Abidin and his fellow commissioners took their oaths before the Chairman of KPU RI. The event was attended by various high-ranking officials, members of KPU RI, and representatives from various regions across Indonesia.

The Director of the Postgraduate Program at Universitas Nurul Jadid, Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., extended his heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Zainal Abidin for this outstanding achievement. "This is a source of pride for Universitas Nurul Jadid. We hope Zainal Abidin can carry out his duties and responsibilities with integrity and professionalism, and make a tangible contribution to upholding the quality of democracy in Probolinggo City," said Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd.

Faculty members and postgraduate students at Universitas Nurul Jadid also expressed their pride and hope that this success can inspire the entire academic community to continue to create and contribute to society.

This inauguration marks the beginning of the significant responsibilities that Zainal Abidin and his fellow commissioners will bear over the next five years. They will be responsible for conducting fair, transparent, and democratic elections in Probolinggo City, with the aim of strengthening political participation and public trust in the democratic process.
