Postgraduate UNUJA Leap: Audience with BAPELITBANGDA Probolinggo District

Probolinggo, July 6, 2023 - Today, the Postgraduate Program at UNUJA held an audience with BAPELITBANGDA (Regional Planning, Research, and Development Agency) of Probolinggo District. This activity aims to strengthen strategic cooperation between the Postgraduate Program at UNUJA and BAPELITBANGDA in efforts to enhance sustainable regional development.

The audience, which took place at the BAPELITBANGDA Office in Probolinggo District, was an important moment for both parties to discuss, share knowledge, and formulate strategic steps in regional development. Present at the audience were the Director of the Postgraduate Program (Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd.), the Heads of the Master’s Programs in Islamic Education (Dr. Umar Manshur, MA) and Islamic Economic Studies (Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd.), as well as representatives from the Postgraduate lecturers of UNUJA (Sugiono, Ph.D., and Dr. Jazilurrahman, M.Pd), and staff, along with relevant parties from BAPELITBANGDA Probolinggo District.

In a speech delivered by the head of the agency (BAPELITBANGDA), Mr. Santiyono, S.E., M.M., he expressed the institution's commitment to participate in regional development. He emphasized the importance of education in shaping quality, innovative human resources ready to face the challenges of future development, and acknowledged that educational institutions have great potential to contribute ideas, research, and solutions to various development issues in Probolinggo District.

During the audience session, both parties actively discussed various aspects of development, including education, infrastructure, environment, economy, and social issues. They shared information, experiences, and ideas to optimize development efforts in Probolinggo District.

Moreover, this audience also provided an opportunity for the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo to present proposals and recommendations to BAPELITBANGDA Probolinggo District. They put forward innovative ideas, development programs, and collaborative activities that could be undertaken together to enhance the quality of development in the region.

Both parties agreed to continue strengthening their cooperation in order to achieve sustainable development. Following the audience, follow-up actions will be taken to formulate concrete steps that will be implemented through joint programs and activities
