The leadership of UNUJA holds a strategic position in the Regional Board of PERMAPENDIS

Probolinggo, on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Hall I of Nurul Jadid University, Paiton Probolinggo, the inauguration of the Regional Board of the Association of Islamic Education Managers (PERMAPENDIS) for East Java Province took place. This inauguration event was held alongside an International Conference organized by the Graduate Program of Nurul Jadid University in collaboration with PERMAPENDIS, with the theme Islamic Education in the Global Context: Resilience and Transformation in a Time of Uncertainty.

Prof. Dr. H. Khusnulridho, M.Pd., officially inducted all members of the East Java PERMAPENDIS Regional Board. On this occasion, the Rector of Nurul Jadid University, KH. Abdul Hamid Wahid, M.Ag., was appointed as the Advisory Board Chair, and KH. Najiburrahman, M.A. (Vice Rector II) was assigned as Supervisory Board Chair. Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd. (Head of the S-2 MPI Program) was entrusted as Vice Chair 3, while Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd. (Graduate Program Director), was appointed as General Secretary. Furthermore, Dr. Umar Manshur, M.A. (Head of the S-2 PAI Program) assumed the role of Chair for the Institutional and Membership Division, with Dr. H. Hefniy, M.Pd., and Dr. H. Moh Rifa’i, M.Pd., serving in the Madrasah and Pesantren Development Division. Additionally, Dr. Abdullah, M.Pd., took on the role in the Science, Research, and Technology Development Division; Dr. Abu Hasan Agus R., M.Pd.I. led the Professional Education, Certification, and Quality Assurance Division; and Fathurrozi, M.Pd.I. managed the Publications and Partnerships Division.

As an expert on PERMAPENDIS, he conveyed that it is time for education in East Java to progress in line with the dynamics of modern developments and technology. Therefore, PERMAPENDIS, consisting of academics, practitioners, religious leaders, and community figures, must play a significant role in advancing education in Indonesia.
