Universitas Nurul Jadid Graduate Program Holds Stage I Selection Exam for LPPD Scholarship Candidates

Paiton, July 25, 2024 - The Graduate Program of Universitas Nurul Jadid held the Stage I Selection Exam, which consisted of a written test for candidates applying for scholarships from the Institute for the Development of Islamic Boarding Schools and Diniyah (LPPD) of the East Java Provincial Government. This event took place on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in the classrooms of the Graduate Program at Universitas Nurul Jadid.

This scholarship program is one of the main priorities, according to Prof. Dr. H. Abd. Halim Soebahar, MA., the Head of LPPD of East Java Provincial Government. In addition to providing scholarships, LPPD also focuses on strengthening consistent collaborations with various educational institutions to support the development of education in Islamic boarding schools and diniyah.

A total of 30 participants, consisting of 14 males and 16 females, enthusiastically took part in the exam. They competed for the scholarships that will assist them in pursuing higher education.

The Acting Director of the Graduate Program at Universitas Nurul Jadid, Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., who also serves as the Vice Rector III of Universitas Nurul Jadid, was present to open the event. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of this opportunity for the participants and expressed his hope that they would make the most of it.

"We hope that the exam participants can showcase their best abilities in this selection. This opportunity is very valuable for supporting their personal development and career in the future," said Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd.

With the successful conduct of this selection, it is expected that LPPD can award scholarships to outstanding participants who are deserving of them, thereby optimizing the objectives of this program. This event also demonstrates LPPD's commitment to establishing close cooperation with various educational institutions to improve the quality of education in East Java.
