UNUJA and PERMA PENDIS Indonesia Prepare for an International Conference with a Global Theme

Probolinggo – The Postgraduate Programme of Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) once again demonstrates its commitment to strengthening international networks by holding a preparatory meeting for the International Conference, which will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The conference, titled "The Struggle for an Alternative Future: Navigating Global Challenges and Reimagining Societies," will serve as an important platform for discussing global issues and innovative solutions for the future of the world.

This online meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. H. Badruddin, M.Ag., CEAM, Chairman of PERMA PENDIS Indonesia. From UNUJA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd. (Vice Rector III), Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd. (Director of the Postgraduate Programme), as well as Dr. Umar Manshur, M.A. (Head of the S2 PAI Study Program) and Dr. Abu Hasan Agus R, M.Pd.I. (Head of the S2 MPI Study Program) were also present.

During this meeting, both parties discussed several important activities that will take place during the international conference. Two main agendas that have been planned include:

1. PERMA PENDIS Award
   A prestigious award that will be presented to individuals who have excelled in the field of Islamic education, both nationally and internationally. The award aims to appreciate substantial contributions to the advancement of better Islamic education in the world.
2. International Article Writing Competition
   An international article writing competition open to academics and researchers from various countries. Participants will be invited to submit scientific papers focusing on global issues that require creative and applicable solutions.

Prof. Dr. H. Badruddin explained that this conference will not only be a platform for academics to share knowledge, but also an opportunity to propose concrete solutions for the challenges faced by societies around the world. “This is a moment to unite smart minds and innovative ideas for a better future,” he stated.
