UNUJA Delegates Students to Attend the 6th Annual Conference for Muslim Scholars (ANCOM)

Paiton, Probolinggo — The Postgraduate Program of Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) Paiton, Probolinggo, has delegated one of its students to participate in the selection for the 6th Annual Conference for Muslim Scholars (ANCOMS) organized by the Coordinator of Private Islamic Higher Education Institutions (KOPERTAIS) Region IV Surabaya. This activity is based on the invitation letter number: B-2940/Un.07/01/KPT/HM.01/Und/09/2024, which was received on September 3, 2024.

The selected student is Aviah Asmaul Hosna, who is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Islamic Education at Universitas Nurul Jadid. Aviah received this valuable opportunity through the Regional Education Development Institute (LPPD) scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year. The good news is that Aviah Asmaul Hosna successfully passed the selection and became one of the chosen participants in ANCOMS. This conference is a prestigious event that brings together Muslim scholars to share ideas and research in the fields of religion and social issues.

At the event, Aviah presented her scientific article titled "Reactivating Local Wisdom Values and Religious Rituals as a Means to Achieve Social Harmony among Religious Communities." This article highlights the importance of revitalizing local wisdom values and religious rituals as a means to create social harmony among religious communities. In her presentation, Aviah stated that through the strengthening of local wisdom, communities can weave back inclusive and harmonious social ties, even while living amidst differences in beliefs.

The Director of the Postgraduate Program at Universitas Nurul Jadid, Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd., also congratulated Aviah on her achievement. In his statement, he said, “I am very proud of Aviah's success in bringing honor to Universitas Nurul Jadid at this prestigious event. I hope this achievement can motivate other students to continue excelling and developing research in the fields of religion and social studies.”
