Universitas Nurul Jadid - On Sunday, July 30, 2023, a number of students from the Graduate Program of Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) attended an event focused on the socialization of thesis and thesis proposal writing. This activity, organized by the UNUJA Graduate Program, aimed to provide guidance and direction to students in preparing high-quality thesis proposals.
The socialization event was attended by around 158 students from two study programs: the Master's Program in Islamic Education (S2.PAI) and the Master's Program in Islamic Education Management (S2.MPI). Participants were taught about the important stages in developing a thesis proposal, including systematic research steps, selecting an appropriate title, and adopting methodologies suitable for their respective fields of study.
Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd, as the Director of the UNUJA Graduate Program, served as the main speaker during the socialization. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of a solid thesis proposal as the foundation for successful research.
"A good thesis proposal is a strong foundation for quality research. Through this socialization, we hope our students can fully understand how to properly and effectively develop a thesis proposal," said Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd.
Additionally, the event provided students with the opportunity to directly ask potential advisors about thesis proposal writing. This was expected to help students gain a deeper understanding of their research topics and strengthen the collaboration between students and their advisors.
During the Q&A session, many interesting questions arose from students regarding methodology, data analysis, and the relevance of their research to current issues in their fields of study. The faculty advisors provided valuable feedback and guided students in formulating more mature thesis concepts.
The thesis proposal writing socialization event concluded with high spirits among the participants. The students felt more prepared and motivated to face the next stages in their thesis writing process. With the guidance and mentorship provided, it is hoped that the students' research in the UNUJA Graduate Program can make meaningful contributions to the development of knowledge across various disciplines.
