UNUJA Lecturers Become Resource Persons for Accreditation of Reputable Journals at ARJUNU

Malang, August 23-24, 2024 – The Association of Volunteers and Journal Managers of PTNU (ARJUNU) held the event "Journal Accreditation Preparation Workshop at ARJUNA 2024," which took place over two days, from Friday to Saturday, August 23-24, 2024. The event was hosted at the Islamic University of Malang (UNISMA) and attended by various rectors and journal managers from Nahdlatul Ulama (PTNU) universities across East Java.

The Chairwoman of ARJUNU, Dr. Fifi Khoirul Fitriyah, S.Pd., M.Pd., explained that this workshop targets journal accreditation at SINTA levels 1 to 6. This workshop is one of the strategic efforts to improve the quality and accreditation of journals managed by PTNU in East Java.

During the workshop, Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd., a permanent lecturer at the Graduate School and the Vice Rector for Data and Research at Universitas Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo, was invited as one of the speakers. Dr. Hasan Baharun provided an in-depth presentation on the strategies and steps that journal managers need to take to achieve better accreditation in ARJUNA.

This activity is expected to enhance the capabilities of journal managers in meeting the established accreditation standards, thereby contributing to the improvement of scientific publication quality within PTNU and the academic world in general.

With the presence of rectors and journal managers from various PTNU institutions in East Java, this workshop is expected to foster positive collaboration and strong synergy in advancing the quality of scientific journals within PTNU.
