Probolinggo, October 5, 2025 – A total of 118 postgraduate students of Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) officially participated in the graduation (yudisium) ceremony for the Academic Year 2024/2025. The solemn event took place at Hall 1 of Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid, Paiton, Probolinggo. The graduates consisted of 42 students from the Master of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Program and 76 students from the Master of Islamic Education Management (MPI) Program.
In his address, the Director of UNUJA Postgraduate Program, Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd., urged the graduates to apply the knowledge they had acquired not only for personal advancement but also for the broader benefit of society. “The knowledge you have attained today should serve as a foundation for providing benefits and solutions to the community in accordance with your respective fields of expertise,” he emphasized.
A similar message was delivered by the Head of the Master of Islamic Religious Education Program, Fathur Rozi, M.Pd., who highlighted the strategic role of graduates in advancing Islamic education. He expressed his hope that the graduates would contribute meaningfully to shaping a generation that is virtuous, moderate, and well-prepared to face the challenges of the contemporary era.
Meanwhile, Dr. Abu Hasan Agus R, M.Pd.I., Head of the Master of Islamic Education Management Program, reminded the graduates that a master’s degree is not the end of an academic journey but rather the beginning of a greater responsibility. “The higher the degree you achieve, the greater your responsibility becomes to bring benefit and positive change to society,” he stated.
The ceremony also recognized outstanding academic achievements. From the Master of Islamic Religious Education Program, Sinta Nuria attained the highest GPA of 3.98. From the Master of Islamic Education Management Program, two students, Izzatul Munawaroh and Rizkiyah Hasanah, both achieved a perfect GPA of 4.00.
The atmosphere grew emotional when student representative Zainal Abidin delivered his message of gratitude. He extended heartfelt thanks to all lecturers and the entire academic community of UNUJA Postgraduate Program for their guidance and dedication. He further affirmed that the learning experience at UNUJA had equipped the graduates with knowledge, skills, and the noble values of pesantren, which will continue to be practiced for the greater good of society.
The yudisium ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of gratitude and joy. This moment not only marked the academic success of the graduates but also signified the beginning of a new chapter in their journey to contribute, innovate, and spread benefits to the wider community.
