UNUJA Postgraduate Students Win National Champion in Prestigious Event

Paiton, 22 December 2024 – Four postgraduate students from Nurul Jadid University (UNUJA) succeeded in making a proud achievement by winning the National Competition for Article Writing Period II held by Educative: Educational Scientific Journal, LPPI Almahmudi bin Dahlan (Abidan) Foundation. This prestigious event involves participants from various universities throughout Indonesia, challenging the abilities of young academics in writing scientific articles on the theme of educational innovation.

One of the superior works that caught the attention of the jury was an article entitled "AI-Enhanced Learning Experiences: Moving Beyond Traditional Textbook Approaches in Global Education". This article was written by (1) Izzatul Munawwaroh, in collaboration with Moses Adeleke Adeoye, lecturer from the Faculty of Education, Al-Hikmah University, Nigeria. This work brings revolutionary ideas about how artificial intelligence (AI) can create more interactive learning experiences, going beyond the limitations of traditional textbook-based approaches.

Apart from that, three other articles from UNUJA students also stole attention; (2) Rizkiyah Hasanah with the article "AI-Based Adaptive Learning in Higher Education: Improving Student Engagement and Learning Outcomes", (3) Febriyanti Ghayatul Qushwa with the article "Exploring The Learning Potential Of AI: Realizing Personalized Education In The Digital Age" and (4) Dinda Febrianti Putri with the article "From Chalkboards to Chatbots: The Rise of AI-Driven Education".

UNUJA Postgraduate Director, Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd, expressed his pride in the achievements of his students. "This achievement not only makes UNUJA proud, but is also clear proof that we are able to produce a generation of academics who are ready to answer global challenges," said Dr. Akmal. He added, "This competition is a place to prove that UNUJA students are not only able to compete, but also excel in producing work that is useful for the world of education."

This success has a broad impact, not only for UNUJA Postgraduate studies but also for the development of education at the national level, Improving Academic Reputation: This achievement emphasizes UNUJA's position as a higher education institution capable of competing nationally and internationally, Innovation in the World of Education: Articles produced reflects UNUJA's efforts to pioneer AI-based educational innovation, in line with the needs of the digital age. Motivation for the Academic Generation: This success is an inspiration for other students to continue working, innovating and contributing to the world of education as well as expanding International Collaboration: Collaboration between UNUJA students with academics from Nigeria demonstrate the institution's ability to collaborate across countries, strengthening global education networks.

With this success, UNUJA is increasingly confident in developing an adaptive and relevant educational ecosystem. The winning articles are not only scientific works, but also real solutions to overcome educational challenges in the modern era.
