Workshop on Writing Scientific Articles for Reputable Journals for PAI Teachers in Probolinggo Regency

Probolinggo, December 26, 2023 - Universitas Nurul Jadid, through its Graduate School, in collaboration with the Supervisory Work Group of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Probolinggo Regency, held a workshop on writing scientific articles for reputable journals. The event took place at the Faculty Lounge of Universitas Nurul Jadid and was attended by the Head of the PAI Division of Probolinggo Regency, H. Muhammad Sugianto S.Kom.

In an effort to improve the quality of scientific writing, this workshop was attended by supervisors and teachers of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) from Probolinggo Regency. Supported by three expert speakers, participants were invited to delve deeper into good writing techniques and the criteria needed to publish articles in reputable journals.

The speakers at this event included:

• Dr. H. Hasan Baharun, M.Pd. - Editor-in-Chief of the SINTA-2 Accredited Journal Al-Tanzim, who provided insights on the standards for writing scientific articles and the criteria that must be met to be recognized at both national and international levels.

• Dr. H. Akmal Mundiri, M.Pd. - Editor-in-Chief of the SINTA-4 Accredited Journal Pedagogik, who discussed the pedagogical aspects of writing scientific articles, particularly those related to religious education.

• Suhermanto, S.Psi., M.Pd. - A writer and researcher who shared practical experiences in dealing with common challenges faced when writing scientific articles.

The Head of the PAI Division of Probolinggo Regency, H. Muhammad Sugianto S.Kom., welcomed this activity as a positive step in developing the scientific writing skills of PAI teachers. He hopes that this workshop can motivate participants to continue producing quality scientific works.

With the presence of supervisors and PAI teachers, this workshop is expected to have a positive impact on the development of knowledge in the field of Islamic Religious Education in Probolinggo Regency.
